A Heritage Heat Pump matched with a Freedom gas furnace provides the most energy efficient way to heat (and cool) your home.

A Heritage® heat pump works all year ‘round, cooling your home in the summer and heating it in the winter. But, unlike a furnace, a heat pump doesn’t burn natural gas to create heat. It uses electricity. The Heat Pump is matched with one of our electric air handlers, or if gas is available, to a Freedom gas furnaces for hybrid heating.

When the outdoor temperature drops below 25 degrees F., the heat pump stops and the gas furnace or the electric heat strips in an air handler will take over the task of heating the home automatically.  You will find the Hybrid System to be extremely cost effective to operate.  Our full line of heat pumps offer efficiencies of 8.3 to 9.65 HSPF, and 13 to 20 SEER.  You have a wide range of comfort choices to select from, ranging from our single-stage Heritage® heat pumps, up to our two-compressor model, which offers two-stage cooling and heating.

	Notice the durable louvered panels that protect the outdoor coil and compressor. We use our special patented system to manufacturer the outdoor coil system called Spine Fin Coils. It performs so well that it comes with a 10-Year warranty, as do our compressors.
	Coils
	The indoor coil is the less visible half of your outdoor air conditioner or heat pump. Yet its job, heat transfer, is a key factor in keeping your home comfortable no matter what the season. Spine Fin coil is all aluminum (not copper and aluminum) which holds it efficiency over long periods of time, and has more leading edge for better efficiency than other plate fin coils. A good way to spot high efficiency. We use “environmentally friendly” R-410A refrigerant.
